A station master’s quick-thinking actions have been praised for getting a primary school’s ill-fated journey to London back on track.

Pupils in Eaglescliffe have won high praise from inspectors for being polite, passionate and proud of their school.

The Concord School District is facing more than $100,000 in school lunch debt. The school board said the lunch debt must be paid off by early July.

Emma Pallant, who teaches at Wood Farm Primary School, has received a Pearson National Teaching Award.
