Diamond’s DA62 is the light twin many pilots have wished for, with just enough automation to ease one’s anxiety about having to deal with an engine failure some day.

This Diamond DA62 has 593 hours on the airframe and each of its 180 hp turbocharged Austro AE330 diesel engines. The panel features Garmin G1000 NXi-Phase 2 avionics.

Diamond Aircraft Canada has signed a lease agreement with Aeromot, its Brazil-based authorized dealer, for the assembly of Diamond DA62 twin-engine light aircraft.

As of Friday morning, a round-trip Saturday flight from Pearson Field to Spokane’s Felts Field costs $4,078 on KinectAir’s four-seater Diamond DA62 aircraft. That’s $1,020 per seat.
