BRAN CASTLE, Romania — Dracula’s castle will have overnight guests on Halloween, marking the first time since 1948 that anyone has slept in the Transylvanian fortress.

Today, however, few know anything about the castle except that it served as inspiration for Dracula's lair in Bram Stoker's 1897 vampire tale and might've once held Vlad the Impaler.
