The pilots of a South Korean air force F-16 were forced to eject when the aircraft left the runway during takeoff at Eielson Air Force Base in Alaska, the Air Force said.
Eielson Air Force Base officials confirmed that an “incident” occurred Tuesday on base involving a Republic of Korea F-16 jet, but did not specify any further as to what had happened.
