Savannah City Council will hear a "future agenda item" that will greenlight a major restoration of the Forsyth Park Fountain, according to a statement from the city of Savannah.

One of the city's most iconic landmarks―the Forsyth Park fountain―was disassembled Monday morning in what marked the beginning of its first major restoration in roughly 40 years.
