Volkswagen is marking 50 years of the Golf GTI with a special edition that also happens to be the most powerful production GTI yet.

In 2026, the Golf GTI will celebrate its 50th anniversary. The brand marks this special occasion with the 325-horsepower model Golf GTI Edition 50.

In addition to new exterior and interior design elements, the 2025 GTI benefits from upgraded technology, interface improvements, and an expanded range of driver assistance features.

The Volkswagen Golf GTI is expected to be priced around Rs 52 lakh (ex-showroom, pan-India). Volkswagen is gearing up for its second launch of this year, the Golf GTI, which will come out in May 2025.
