A SWAT standoff unfolded in Hyrum early Sunday after a man called police claiming he had killed his wife and later sent photos of himself wearing a bomb vest.

A six-hour SWAT standoff ended in Texas City after police initially received a family disturbance call which soon escalated and had police evacuating nearby residents.
