HONOLULU (KITV4) -- The Honolulu Zoo is launching a new interactive app called HZapp -- a fun tool that helps guide guests' journey through the zoo with one easy tap of a button on your mobile device.

The app includes an interactive map, countless animal fun facts and a new series of “Keeper Chats” scheduled at the Honolulu Zoo that will be available for app users.

The Honolulu Zoo received its first-ever nomination as a candidate for the prestigious title of Best Zoo in America in the 2024 USA Today 10Best Readers’ Choice Awards.
