With experience on its side, the Meridian High School competitive cheer team is aiming for its highest finish ever at the Division 4 state finals on Saturday at the DeltaPlex in Grand Rapids.

SANFORD — Dow High won Division 1 on Wednesday at the 25-team annual Mustang Cheer Corral at Meridian High School. Saginaw Heritage, Midland High and Traverse City West also competed in Division 1.
