JACKSONVILLE, Fla., Nov. 6 (UPI) -- The owner of an antique, pearl-handled Colt .45, stolen in Florida and missing for more than a decade says he has gotten the heirloom gun back.

Officials said the pearl-handled Colt single-action .45-caliber revolver was presented to ex-Texas Ranger James Van Riper by the San Antonio Police Department when he became chief in 1901.
