The tournament will mark the sixth time the USGA will visit the Philadelphia Country Club, with the last being the 2005 U.S. Amateur also co-hosted with Merion.

As previously announced, Merion Golf Club, in nearby Ardmore, will host both stroke play and all match-play rounds when the 126th edition of the championship is played Aug. 10-16, 2026.
