Jada Monroe, 30, pleaded guilty to murder and robbery for stabbing Derek Hartz, 35, of Hobart, with a knife and fatally striking him with a brick.

PORTER COUNTY — An investigation is underway after police on Friday afternoon discovered a body near railroad tracks in Liberty Township, Porter County officials said.
