WEST WARWICK, R.I. (WJAR) — K-9 Mouse is officially part of the West Warwick Police Department. Police said K-9 Mouse was sworn in Tuesday afternoon as the department's first compassion therapy dog.

A newly-deputized police dog died after being left in a hot patrol car. The K-9 named Georgia died on July 13 in Trenton, Ga.
