The AAIB investigating the deadly Air India crash released its preliminary report last week, and one of the key points that emerged was that the fuel switches moved within a gap of a second.

The left engine separated from the aircraft and struck the north corner of this building at ground level. The aircraft's right engine was found resting beneath a concrete water tank on the building's rooftop. The inboard section of the right wing was recovered near this area.

The AAIB stated that the Air India crash investigation is ongoing and it's premature to draw conclusions, including pilot error. They criticized selective media reporting, emphasizing the need for the public and media to await the final report with root causes and recommendations.
