A Baltimore animal shelter is urging people to adopt after taking in 100 new animals in 48 hours, officials said.

Thanks to the return of the Bissell Pet Foundation’s “Empty the Shelters” event, adoption fees are waived from now until December 15th. An area physician, Dr. Peters, will then be paying for adoptions from December 15th through the end of the year, December 31st.
