After a chaotic end to the regular season in college football, the matchups are set for championship week. Here’s a look at the showdowns coming up in the Power Four and Group of Five. All championship games are Dec.

Jacksonville State football's opponent in the Conference USA title game has been set. The Gamecocks (8-4, 7-1 Conference USA) will face off with Western Kentucky, on Friday, Dec. 6 at AmFirst Stadium.

The American Athletic Conference is the only Football Bowl Subdivision league whose championship game matchup is set.

JACKSONVILLE − A time as been set for the Conference USA championship game, which Jacksonville State football will host. The game on the December 6 will kick off at 6:06 p.m. CT, a source with direct knowledge told The Gadsden Times.

The Bulldogs are in the SEC championship game for the fourth straight year, earning their spot this year based on a head-to-head tiebreaker vs. Tennessee. The Longhorns will play in Atlanta in their first season as an SEC member after moving over from the Big 12.

With a few hours left in the regular season, there are still four teams alive for a berth in the 2024 Big 12 football championship game. Entering the week, nine teams still had a shot at appearing in the title game.

The victory alone did not send Penn State to the conference title game, however. Penn State’s path was cleared for the Big Ten championship game by Michigan upsetting Ohio State to hand the Buckeyes a second conference loss.
