Jeff Landry continues to shape the LSU board with a new chair appointment and one new board member appointment.

Gov. Jeff Landry announced new appointments to serve on the Louisiana State University Board of Supervisors Thursday morning.

Louisiana Gov. Jeff Landry has appointed two new members to the University of Louisiana System Board of Supervisors and three new members to the Louisiana Board of Regents. Landry also reappointed two Regents to another term and five members on the UL System board.

Gov. Jeff Landry appointed several new members and also reappointed some existing members of the Louisiana Board of Regent and the University of Louisiana System Board of Supervisors.

For seven months, the Louisiana Board of Ethics kept private documents about the financial interests of a handful of Gov. Jeff Landry’s staff that are supposed to be public under state law.

Jan. 6, through Jan. 23., flags at schools, buildings and universities will be at half-staff and a moment of silence will be held at all public schools.
