After being selected with the No. 11 overall pick in the 2025 NFL draft, Mykel Williams is officially a member of the San Francisco 49ers now that he has agreed to terms on his rookie contract.

Plenty of high-end EDGE prospects were at the top of the 2025 NFL Draft. One of those was Mykel Williams out of Georgia, eventually hearing his name called at No. 11 overall. Williams will begin his career out West with the San Francisco 49ers.

The 49ers have inked their first-round pick from this year’s draft. San Francisco announced on Thursday that the club has signed No. 11 overall pick Mykel Williams. A defensive end out of Georgia, Williams was a second-team All-SEC selection in both 2023 and 2024.
