Emergency responders called for an air ambulance to take him to Torrette Hospital in Ancona, but he was pronounced dead at the scene.

A paraglider was safely rescued after striking a power line and crashing into a river in North Dakota on Tuesday.

A paraglider in North Dakota struck some power lines and crashed into the river below. Emergency crews responded and were able to pull the pilot from the water. Officials say the man didn’t see the power line because the sun obscured his vision.
