Crystal Lake, the Friday the 13th prequel series taking shape at Peacock, has cast the actor playing Jason — who will not be fitted with a hockey mask anytime soon.

A new Jason Voorhees has joined the Friday the 13th universe, as Callum Vinson ( Chucky, Long Bright River) is cast in Peacock ‘s prequel series Crystal Lake from A24. Brad Caleb Kane serves as creator, writer, showrunner and executive producer of the series.

Blackpool have signed Birmingham City goalkeeper Bailey Peacock-Farrell on a season-long loan deal. The 28-year-old Northern Ireland international made nine appearances as Blues won the League One title last season. He started his career with Leeds United before joining Burnley, where he spent five years, in 2019.

The raised rates, which take effect on July 23, 2025, will see the ad-supported Peacock Premium plan rising from $7.99 to $10.99 per month, and the mostly ad-free Premium Plus plan increasing from $13.99 to $16.99 per month.
