Wide receiver Jauan Jennings is seeking a contract extension from the 49ers before training camp opens next week, otherwise a trade request will be made, per a league source.

If a contract is not signed by the end of training camp, Jennings will ask the 49ers to trade him to a team willing to sign him to an extension.
