Bombardier Inc <BBDb.TO> shares fell almost 9 percent on Monday, a day after Scandinavian airline SAS <SAS.ST> permanently grounded its fleet of Q400 turboprops made by the Canadian airplane maker.

GARDEN CITY, N.Y. — Two planes made by Canadian manufacturer Bombardier have had to make emergency landings in less than a week because of a landing gear problem.

Air Canada spokesperson Peter Fitzpatrick says the Bombardier Q400 experienced a “suspected landing gear issue” after arrival Saturday night. He said nobody was injured.
