Police in Florida say a baby was found in the back seat of a car that was involved in a high-speed chase.

A 9-year-old girl has died after being left in a car in the sweltering Texas while her mom was at work as temperatures soared to 97 degrees.

Authorities say the girl's mother knowingly left her in the car when her work shift began. When her shift ended, she found her daughter unresponsive.
