Patches and plaques may be scaly or erythematous (see Figure 1). Lesions may present as hypo or hyperpigmented areas (see Figure 2).
The RRs are characterised by the reactivation of old lesions and the appearance of new lesions that present as swollen, erythematous plaques and that are frequently accompanied by nerve damage.
