After four months of rehabilitation and veterinary care, the Wildlife Center of Virginia released an adult bald eagle to once again fly free in the wind Tuesday morning.

Challenger is celebrating his 30th birthday this year, but will be retiring from flying during shows as the first free-flying bald eagle performer in the U.S. after 25 years.
