The U.S. Department of Justice has opened another investigation into George Mason University. This brings the total number of federal probes opened in the past month to four from the DOJ and the Department of Education against the Commonwealth's largest public university since President Donald Trump took office in January.

The Trump administration announced Monday an additional probe against George Mason University (GMU), making it the fourth since President Trump took office. The Department of Justice (DOJ) said it is investigating if the university has violated Title VI by discriminating against students based on race or ethnicity during admissions or scholarship practices.
