MEDICINE BOW -- The Medicine Bow Volunteer Fire Department recently received a much-needed grant from the Wyoming Interite Community Investment program, part of the Wyoming Community Foundation.

A fire burning in Medicine Bow National Forest that has forced evacuations in the area expanded to more than 1,300 acres between Wednesday night and Thursday morning.

LARAMIE – As of Wednesday, fire restrictions are rescinded on all National Forest System lands managed by the Medicine Bow-Routt National Forests and Thunder Basin National Grassland.
