The Phoenix Suns are set to compete in frigid Cleveland on Wednesday in a matchup with the Cavaliers featuring teams looking to escape the middle of the pack in their respective conferences.

Cleveland came into the night ranked seventh in pace, and you could feel it right away. The game sped up early, with transition basketball setting the tone. Phoenix opened 2-of-3 from deep and still found itself down seven because Cleveland was knocking down shots on the other end.

Phoenix Suns are six games above .500 for the first time since Nov. 6, 2024 when they started the 2024-25 season 7-1.

The Phoenix Suns finish 2025 on the road with a matchup against the Cleveland Cavaliers on December 31. Tip-off is scheduled for 3:30 p.m. ET at Rocke.

The Suns will also be getting back two big pieces against Cleveland with center Mark Williams returning following a one-game suspension for fighting during Saturday's win over the New Orleans Pelicans and forward Ryan Dunn being back in the lineup after missing the past two games with a knee contusion.
