A house in southeast Roanoke was heavily damaged by fire early Sunday, Roanoke Fire-EMS reported.

A log cabin on Scotland Road in Akron sustained about $250,000 in damage in a fire Sunday night, according to the Amherst Central Fire Alarm Office.
