The Winona Area Public Schools Board of Education on Tuesday night selected the six candidates it will interview to become the district’s next superintendent.

Van Ayres, Hillsborough County Public Schools' Chief of Strategic Planning and Partnerships, was selected as interim superintendent. Addison Davis will step down July 14.
