UPDATE 1.15pm: TWO people have died at a controversial music festival on the Southern Downs, Warwick Police have confirmed.

Last year, Rabbits Eat Lettuce became the first festival in Queensland to run pill testing after Ebony Greening and Dassarn Tarbutt died from suspected overdoses in a tent at the 2019 event.

About 5000 people are expected to attend the Rabbits Eat Lettuce music and arts festival at a private bush camping area and cattle property in the South Burnett this Easter.
