Two of the toughest places to get tables in Brooklyn, Sailor and Red Hook Tavern, are expanding their footprints.

Sailor, which was opened in September, is owned by the restaurateur Gabriel Stulman with his wife, Gina. It is the most mature restaurant of his career, and Ms. Bloomfield’s, too.
