Sakuna's been a breakout hit for Edelweiss, originally a two-man dev team that grew to ten by the time Sakuna: Of Rice and Ruin was released. The game even got an anime adaptation earlier this year.

Sakuna: Of Rice and Ruin is an anime adaptation of the Action Roleplaying Game by the same name. The game was released in 2020, as a sequel to the game Fairy Bloom Freesia.

Sakuna: Of Rice and Ruin episode 1 will be released on July 6, 2024, and will premiere the anime adaptation of the Sakuna: Of Rice and Ruin ARPG game.
