American alpine skier Mikaela Shiffrin shared glimpses of her indoor skiing from Alpincenter Hamburg-Wittenburg.
On Saturday, Shiffrin dominated the first women’s World Cup slalom of the season for her 98th win. No other skier, male of female, has won more than 86 races.
So are her 99 World Cup wins and 62 in slalom — both records among men and women. One of the few big skiing statistics that Shiffrin is not the leader in is overall World Cup titles.
Over her career, Shiffrin has finished first, second or third in a World Cup slalom race in 89 of 118 starts, which is a 75.4% podium rate. She’s won slalom 64 times — a 54.2% victory rate.
