Broome County Sheriff Fred Akshar announced the removal of the Israeli and Ukranian flags from a flagpole outside the sheriff's office.

There is no longer an Israeli flag flying at the Broome County Sheriff's Office. Broome County Sheriff Fred Akshar made the announcement with a post on the office's Facebook page Tuesday.
