Free monthly movies for senior citizens are offered in the renovated movie theaters at Newport Centre Mall in Jersey City. Movies are open to Jersey City senior citizens only.

The Jersey City man accused of shooting two people inside Newport Centre Mall two years ago was sentenced to six years in prison Moday, Hudson County Prosecutor Esther Suarez said.
