A seven-foot-tall bronze statue of Tina Turner will be built in her hometown of Brownsville thanks in part to the Ford Motor Company.

Ford Motor Company will contribute $150,000 toward the completion of a seven-foot-tall statue honoring music icon Tina Turner in her hometown of Brownsville, Tennessee, the city announced Wednesday.
