OAKLAND — The city will open three new Tuff shed shelters and lease land for four sanctioned RV parks to house homeless people with $8.6 million from the state.
The City of Oakland is about to open the third of its "Community Cabins", or Tuff Shed villages, a collection of tiny cabins, situated in areas of the city plagued by sprawling tent encampments.
