The Australian bull rider scored 87.5 points on Generations Pro Rodeo's Rise Up on Friday night to win the first round.

Bull rider Dylan Grant has died at age 24 after suffering injuries Thursday night during the Wharton County Youth Fair Xtreme Bulls event in Wharton, Texas.

Winner Lane Kruse of Truman, Minn., was joined in the arena by cowboys from Nimrod, Tyler, Litchfield, Browerville, Woodlake, New London and Hancock.
