Rivalry week across college football really had it all. There was fighting, flag-planting, eight overtimes, rivalries renewed and rivalry narratives reinforced. We saw Heisman Trophy contenders demand the spotlight and College Football Playoff contenders shrink when the lights were the brightest.

After another wild weekend on the gridiron, the fourth iteration of the College Football Playoff rankings dropped Tuesday night. There was some significant movement in the new rankings released after the Week 13 games.

The loss by the Crimson Tide at Oklahoma also raised some serious questions about the Kalen DeBoer and the challenges of following a coaching great like Nick Saban. Clemson, meanwhile, got a boost in their hopes by slotting ahead of those two SEC schools.
