According to Deadline, Navarro, 58, the band’s guitarist, bassist Eric Avery and drummer Stephen Perkins sued Farrell for $10 million Wednesday in Los Angeles Superior Court. The lawsuit accuses Farrell of a “brutal and unprovoked” onstage attack on Navarro.

J ane's Addiction was one of the progenitors of '90s alternative rock, and the band's 1991 farewell tour literally spawned Lollapalooza. Like many bands of the era, Jane's Addiction has been off and on (and off and on) in the new millennium, but things are at a nadir.
