WEST POINT, N.Y. (AP) — The U.S. Military Academy has disbanded a dozen West Point cadet clubs centered on ethnicity, gender, race and sexuality in response to the Trump administration's push to eliminate diversity programs throughout government.

The memo, dated Tuesday, listed sanctioned clubs that were disbanded, including the Asian-Pacific Forum Club, the Latin Cultural Club and the National Society of Black Engineers Cub.

The U.S. Military Academy disbanded 12 affinity groups and placed all other clubs under review, in accordance with President Trump's crackdown on DEI.
