The all-time Emmy record haul remains the 160 nominations hoovered up by Netflix, also in 2020. This year, Netflix commanded 120, ranking second among platforms and up from last year's 107 noms. Limited series "The Penguin" punched above its weight with 24 nominations.

LOS ANGELES (AP) — “Severance” separated itself from the field with 27 Emmy nominations Tuesday, while “The Studio” led comedy nominees with a record-tying 23 in a dominant year for Apple TV+.

Nominations will also broadcast on social media via the Emmy’s official Facebook, Twitter, and TikTok pages, as well as the event’s Brightcove feed. Actors Harvey Guillén (“What We Do in the Shadows”) and Brenda Song (“Running Point”) are set to announce the nominees alongside Television Academy chair Chris Abrego.
