Jayson Tatum has a long road of recovery ahead during the upcoming Celtics season after suffering an Achilles tear in May but one resource he’s used in his recovery is Rockets forward Kevin Durant. The Celtics All-Star reached out to Durant already in the wake of the injury according to his appearance on the Mind the Game podcast.

Kevin Durant tore his Achilles back in Game 5 of the 2019 NBA Finals, causing him to miss the entirety of the next season. He even thought his career could've ended there.But, notably, Durant bounced back and breathed new life into his NBA career.
