After starting the season 2-4, prompting calls for coach Dave Aranda’s job, the Bears put together a remarkable turnaround and enter the bowl season as one of the hottest teams in the nation with a six-game winning streak.

Longtime Baylor play-by-play announcer John Morris is being honored tonight in Las Vegas as the 2024 Chris Schenkel Award winner. Morris has been "The Voice of the Baylor Bears" for over 30 years and is receiving the honor from the National Football Foundation.
