Ford recalls nearly a million newer vehicles in Canada, U.S

Ford has issued a massive recall of some of its best-selling vehicles, including the F-150, Bronco and Explorer. The automaker is recalling 850,318 vehicles worldwide, with 844,098 of those in the U.S., according to the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA).

Over 850,000 of Ford’s vehicles are being recalled due to a low-pressure fuel pump that can cause an engine stall while driving. Notification letters informing owners of the risk will be mailed on Monday. Another letter will be sent out when the accommodation is made available, the NHTSA said.
