Sanders is widely viewed as one of the top two quarterbacks in the 2025 draft class, alongside Miami's Cam Ward. Sanders is coming off of a senior season in which he completed 74 percent of his passes for 4,134 yards, 37 touchdowns, and 10 interceptions while leading the Buffaloes to a 9-4 record.

League insiders are convinced the Giants have their sights on Sanders, but that wouldn't keep them from targeting a veteran at QB.

The New York Giants need a quarterback. Brian Daboll does not have his answer for that position on the roster right now. The Los Angeles Rams have a quarterback who could get traded in the coming months of the offseason.

The Giants need to find a new quarterback but they're unlikely to take one in the first three rounds of the 2025 NFL Draft.
