The Turkey Feather Fire and the Chicken Fire could merge after burning thousands of acres already in the Gila Wilderness.

Firefighters responded to three separate structure fires at homes in McHenry County in an hour and a half that were suspected to be caused by lightning strikes as storms passed through the area.
