Senate Bill 56, which proposed some changes to Ohio's recreational marijuana regulations has just passed in the Senate without language that had local municipalities concerned.

CINCINNATI (WXIX) - The Ohio Senate just made some big changes to the state’s marijuana law. They approved S.B. 56, which slashes the number of cannabis plans that can be grown per household in half, from 12 to 6.

SB 56 strictly prohibits smoking cannabis in public, limiting Ohioans to partaking in private residences, and reduces home grow from 12 plants or less to six plants.

The Ohio Senate has approved a bill to make significant changes to the state’s voter-approved marijuana law—by halving the number of plants adults could grow, adding new criminal penalties and removing select social equity provisions,
