Shreyas Iyer entered the IPL 2025 mega auction with a sensational century in the opening round of the Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy 2024 on Friday and as expected triggered a fierce bidding war for his signature for the 2025 player auction in Jeddah on Sunday.

The former Kolkata Knight Riders captain Shreyas Iyer, who led KKR to the IPL 2024 trophy, was released by the franchise ahead of the mega auction.
